Review for Palomacy Pigeon & Dove Adoptions, San Francisco, CA, USA
I first heard of Mickacoo through reading the blog of a woman who adopted a pair of King pigeons from them. The birds were so lovely and interesting -I had never considered pigeons as pets- and her experience with Micakoo sounded so wonderful I decided to get in touch to learn more. Elizabeth was more than happy to get me educated about these clever birds and help me through the aviary design process and adoption application. Wanting to know more about the birds and the people behind Mickacoo I volunteered to help build a foster aviary in my area. It was such a rewarding experience that I resolved to get to work on my own aviary sooner rather than later. With Mickacoos help -literally, they came to assist the building- I now have a lovely home for three pairs of wonderful birds. Not only is it a nice accent for the yard, it is a rich area to observe and interact with these very intelligent birds. Having pigeons has definitely enhanced my understanding and appreciation for compassion and happiness!
