Review for Spotlight Youth Theatre, Glendale, AZ, USA
I love the way Spotlight Youth Theatre unites kids, teens and parents who all work together to produce shows for the local community. There aren't many places where parents and their kids can join together to make something beautiful, but at Spotlight they volunteer their time to build sets, make costumes, run the box office and teach the kids how to be in the spotlight. I've seen how the kids blossom and gain confidence from their experiences, and how they bond together with their fellow cast members and the parent volunteers through the process. I've been watching youth theater in the Phoenix West Valley for 5 years, and Spotlight keeps bringing me back, not just for the great shows, but for the spirit that infuses them.

Review for Friendly Ferals Inc, Forest Hills, NY, USA
I've worked with Mary for the past year and I've seen that she does more than many large nonprofit organizations. I TNR about 350 cats a year, but Mary does many more. She gets the job done no matter how big it is. More importantly, she organizes other trappers like myself and helps us get spay/neuter spots and helps do transport. She is a staunch supporter of trap-neuter-return and counsels other trappers in how to do TNR and the psychological issues that come with that. I wish that Mary had more financal backing because she could do so much more.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
Mary is a no-nonsense person who gets the job done. I would rather spend my time helping the cats than dealing with drama and interpersonal problems - Mary has none of that. She only cares about getting the cats fixed and back outside.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
goal oriented.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
fix the feral cat overpopulation problem in New York City.
How frequently have you been involved with the organization?
About every week
