Review for Make A Difference, Goa, , India

Rating: 5 stars

MAD is possibly the best Serendipity that has happened to be till now.A MADster by accident,I am now totally mad about MAD. I'll always be thankful to MAD for providing me with the platform to reach out and actually make a difference to people's life. Interacting with kids belonging to Orphanages and Street Shelters and realizing that they are as intelligent and smart as us, if not more, has in itself been a revelation. And the fact that by just devoting 2 hours every week, one can actually bring about a difference in the lives of these very kids. The people in MAD, the values..Its all been fantastic till now and am sure it would be the same always. Proud to be MAD.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

seeing a change in the perspective of kids towards their future once MAD got involved with them.Their eagerness to learn, their desire make something out of their life, to become something/someone.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

The pure joy one gets out of seeing the change in the attitude and perspective of the kids we teach. They look up to us and want to be like us.The very fact that they realize that they can be like us or even better is of immense satisfaction.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

so totally dedicated and so totally enthusiastic about everything to do with MAD..Be it teaching, or organizing a summer camp for the kids or a recruitment drive. Everybody here believes in making a difference and strives for same.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

We could bring about so much diffenrence with that amount of money. Most of the kids we teach, drop out of education beyond 12th Std and get into manual labour and other such jobs due to lack of funds for further education despite being deserving.

How frequently have you been involved with the organization?

About every week

When was your last experience with this nonprofit?
