Review for Make A Difference, Goa, , India
I had worked with a few non profit organizations before i found out about Make a Difference, Delhi (MADD) through Facebook. My trouble with all organisations that i had worked with before was that, as a volunteer, I was never directly involved with the cause that they were working for. But MADD came as a pleasant surprise! As a volunteer with MADD, I was doing exactly what the people at the organizational level were doing. I was involved with the kids at the orphanage impacting their lives directly. Being a youth organization, they respect our opinions and ideas and not make us feel inexperienced. Another surprise was the level of professionalism within a youth non profit organization. its amazing to see how organized these guys are with the organizational team striving to bring in a well defined structure and processes within the organization. The curriculum is followed strictly in the classrooms to maintain the quality of teaching and the uniformity across classes in terms of what the students gain.I have been with MADD for 3 months now and enjoyed every moment of it. Working for an NGO has never been so engaging before.

the classrooms when the number of students keeps increasing by the day. these are students who come voluntarily after noticing the change in their friends and experiencing themselves how much fun learning can be.

the interaction with kids. thanks to the curriculum, we can make the lessons so much fun for the kids. during the games we play, its so satisfying to see the kids having a good time while adding so much value to themselves.
