Review for Thomas Jefferson High Schoolhistorical Preservation Society, San Antonio, TX, USA
I was a founder of this organization and currently serve on the TJHS HPS Advisory Board. The mission of this organization is a hard one. Preservation of a historic landmark is a slow process and an expensive one. This organization has been working hard for many years to date and has done very well. The historical integrity, the works in concrete art and all the personal histories that have evolved due to the wonderful and diverse past of Thomas Jefferson High School are a goal of this organization and I love them for it. TJHS is unique due to its architecture, history and spirit and there will never be no other like it again....Please help TJHS HPS with their mission ....donate now!

Review for Alamo Resource Conservation & Development Area Inc, Boerne, TX, USA
I have been a volunteer with Alamo RC&D for many years. They are a very dedicated group that helps to our rural communities in many ways. I have seen wonderful watershed protection programs, youth programs called Growing Rural and now they are also supporting the local CERT programs . They are very good at mustering up volunteers and taking care of project s that need to be done due to a local need. In other words...they help on home ground where it is needed most!
