Review for The Sato Project, Brooklyn, NY, USA

Rating: 5 stars

Several years ago I learned about the Sato Project. I had just returned from a trip to Puerto Rico, where I saw packs of stray dogs roaming the streets & roads, trying to survive. It broke my heart & I wanted to do something to help them (even though I live in San Francisco). I did research & found the Sato Project, and have been supporting their rescue, rehabilitation & rehoming efforts ever since. Chrissy Beckles and her team of volunteers have saved hundreds of dogs from Dead Dog Beach in Puerto Rico. They have set up spay/neuter clinics in PR, along with a veterinary clinic to address the needs that these dogs face. They are an outstanding organization & should be supported by animal lovers!!!!!

Review for Palomacy Pigeon & Dove Adoptions, San Francisco, CA, USA

Rating: 5 stars

I learned about MickaCoo seven years ago when I started volunteering at SF Animal Care & Control in the Small Animal Department. MickaCoo works tirelessly to rescue, rehabiitate & find homes for thousands of king pigeons and doves each year. These gentle creatures make beautiful, sweet, adorning companions. Most people think of dog & cat rescue, so MickaCoo's work often goes unoticed. They represent a growing population of king pigeons who are casted out for no reason. They speak for these innocent souls & give them loving, responsible homes. Without MickaCoo's work, these sweet birds wouldn't have a chance at survival, much less thriving in new environments. I hope that you will consider adopting a king pigeon or dove today!
