We met the Founder of Mickacoo, Elizabeth at a Humane Society event. And were impressed with the Lovely King Pigeon she brought to the event, introducing to us the plight of the beautiful pigeons and doves. We (My husband and my self) are lovers of animals. So, when we were educated about the situation and mistreatment of the domesticated/ or injured wild Birds. We decided to adopt four pigeions. What beautiful and special creatures. They are teaching us so much about fidelity and beauty. Mickacoo and the Founder were extremely supportive and helpful. With their help we were able to build an outdoor aviary with much help with donated materials and proper advise as to correct care for these lovely creatures. We are very grateful to this organization for their help and total committment towards the Birds and their needs.
