PAWS is a wonderful, caring organization with heart, and have been serving the community since 1977. They are dedicated to helping at-risk animals and interested adopters find the right match. My family has adopted several wonderful dogs and cats over many long years, all just the sweetest. I'm also a longtime volunteer.

PAWS is a wonderful organization that helps at-risk cats and dogs in the community. They're very caring and put the animals first above all else.

I've been volunteering with PAWS for nine years. PAWS is the most caring, compassionate organization, helping the most in-need, at-risk animals from the streets and crowded shelters. PAWS rescues animals who often get overlooked by other groups -- animals who may be older, in need of medical care, or aren't the most popular, quickly adopted breeds. PAWS takes the time needed to ready these animals for adoption and find the right, loving homes. PAWS has been serving the local communities for 43 years!

I’ve volunteered for PAWS for the past 6 years and have adopted three beloved fur family members. PAWS is a very caring organization that goes the extra miles to properly match animals with the right people and homes. Prospective adopters are thoroughly interviewed and followed up with so that their needs and the animals’ needs are met. PAWS saves many high risk animals and provides full vetting to all animals in their care. Both of our PAWS dogs were rescued from bad situations – one left abandoned in an apartment, and one abandoned outside, causing sever medical issues before landing on death row in a high kill shelter. Our dogs and cat, like all PAWS animals, received full veterinary care PAWS before being put up for adoption.

PAWS really cares about doing the right thing for the cats and dogs rescued, and puts significant effort into finding good homes. And PAWS helps at-risk animals that may get overlooked elsewhere. The volunteers are the best and work tirelessly.

I adopted 2 wonderful companions from PAWS in 2003 and joined the board in 2011. PAWS is a volunteer organization and it amazes me how tirelessly they work, giving of their own time and money. PAWS operates on a shoe-string budget, yet remains dedicated to its mission of helping at-risk dogs and cats regardless of breed or age, and trying to "strike at the root" of problems by supporting spay/neuter and humane education.

I am a volunteer for PAWS and joined the Board in March 2011. This group has been highly effective in saving dogs and cats. The volunteers and foster network are amazingly dedicated and responsive. PAWS gives countless animals - many at risk from kill shelters or other difficult situations - a chance for a good life.
