Review for Healing Horses One child at a time Inc., Wesley Chapel, FL, USA

Rating: 5 stars

The blessings bestowed upon me on a daily basis, in seeing abused horses heal both physically and mentally, as well as seeing special needs children victorious in finding self esteem, confidence, speech, motor skill improvement and laughter, has been the a reward that no words can ever describe. The volunteers here are remarkable individuals. All show devotion, love, kindness and understanding of the challenges these horses have on arrival and in their healing process. I have never in my life seen such devotion from a group of youth, as is demonstrated here by our youth volunteers. A group of youth with ambition, goals, morals and values that send your heart soaring. Our adult volunteers give freely of their hearts, time, labor and "can't be done", is never in their vocabulary. We are so blessed to have the ability to give these intelligent, noble animals a second chance and teach them that all humans aren't bad after all. The miracles these horses bring to the special needs children are at times so intense, I am sent soaring with exhilaration. To see a child become confident, to watch their self esteem rise, to see them accomplish verbal and motor skills that they couldn't obtain before, because of the magic of the horse, is a journey I am so blessed and honored to be on. I am honored to stand with each of you, as we save as many horses as we can from the brutalities of mankind and help children become instilled with the knowledge that there is no challenge they can not over come! Alone, we are but the whisper of a mouse, together we are the roar of a lion! Beverly Levitt- President/Founder
