Review for Healing Horses One child at a time Inc., Wesley Chapel, FL, USA
I have known Bev Levitt for over 6 years, long before healing horses was even a thought. However, this amazing, loving, generous grandmother devoted her life in that time to taking care of her developmentally disabled grand daughter and always told me that one of these days she would get a pony for her. Well, fast forward and Bev ended up with her own personal herd of horses! I am a horse person and have never in my life seen someone as able to heal broken hearts, legs and random wounds, build bonds of broken trust, and feed starved horses to where they are now healthy and as dappled as any pampered horse I've ever seen. And then there are the children and families who Bev has touched through her warmth, open arms, wonderful hugs and willingness to share her farm and her home. Her experiences from doing so much speed and occupational therapy with her granddaughter taught her well. She is a natural therapist for horses, special needs children and all of the kids and family volunteers. It is an honor to be on the board of Healing Horses One child at a Time. May your efforts continue to rescue horses in need, find them their furever homes and continue to reach and teach special needs children. I will continue to work toward finding funding sources to support this life saving venture.
