I cannot express my admiration for this important charity. Thanks to the Blind Cat Rescue and Sanctuary, blind cats and FELV+ and FIV+ cats have a lifetime home that is caring and safe. The pictures on their website inspire me, and if I did not have a severe allergy to cats I would not hesitate to give one of these deserving felines a home. I am very involved in animal rescue, and I admire the work that this charity does.. They are a grassroots charity. They have a network of caring volunteers. The leaders do not earn huge salaries. I wish that people would support fine charities such as this one.

World Vets is one of the few organizations that performs and acts rather than seeking publicity. Their work all over the world is important and very much needed. They have an international volunteer network that is loyal. They also train people in how to repond to disasters. There is no organization that deserves your support and admiration.

Project Amazonas has been leading numerous volunteer trips to the Peruvian Amazon for many years. Many trips are focused on medical needs, but there are also trips to perform important research, educate the public, study the environment and so much more. Devin Graham is a tireless advocate for issues facing the Peruvian Amazon Rainforest.

Amazon Promise has worked in the Peruvian Amazon region for many years. They provide vital medical services to the poorest people in the region. Founder Patty Webster has been honored with numerous international awards, including CNN Hero of the Year. Despite the accolades, she remains humble. I have never met a more dedicated professional with a clear mission and a clear record of great accomplishments despite many odds.
The Amazon region has been forever changed by the important work performed by Amazon Promise. In addition to their medical trips throughout the Amazon, they have built a permanent medical clinic in Belen, a poor are of Iquitos. International medical volunteers are always eager to travel to Iquitos, Peru to support these noble efforts.
