Review for CAT GUARDIANS, Lombard, IL, USA
I have been a supporter of Cat Guardians since they opened and have adopted several cats from them over the years. I have seen firsthand the dedication that the staff shows to every cat that comes through the door. At Cat Guardians, each and every furry little life counts and is given every chance to find their forever home, including those that the “kill” shelters would have considered unadoptable and surely have euthanized. My kitty, Paris, had been at the shelter for almost six years – too shy and skittish to be attractive to most potential adopters. Now she is the biggest snuggle bug, and I am so thankful that Cat Guardians provided her a safe haven while she waited for me to find her. And most amazingly they do it all on a small fraction of the donations that the larger shelters receive. A great big thank you from me and all of the Cat Guardians alumni for all you do!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
When I lived closer I volunteered and also attend many of their fundraisers/events. I often visit the shelter just to check in on the current residents.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
Give them a larger facility so they could save even more kitties.

What specific problem, purpose, priority, or project prompted your gift?
I have made two gifts this year - one was in memory of Scruffy the cat, so callously murdered by the Arizona "Humane" Society the other was part of a silent art auction held for the shelter.
What would you tell others about this organization?
They are truly committed to the safety, health and welfare of all cats. They have a very stringent adoption process and do their very best to ensure that all their kitties go to loving homes.
