I have volunteered for this organization for well over 20 years and I love it. We have so many dedicated and caring volunteers to work with that it is a pleasure to go in every week. I am co-chair of the Clothing Department and because of the hard work of our Executive Director, Karen, DiCarlo, the quality of the clothing we are able to give out has increased ten-fold. She has made contacts and agreements with several organizations and the system is working very well. Many people know basically what we do but everyone that comes through for a tour of our facility is very impressed with the way we operate and many of them tell us that they thought they knew what we did but really did not understand everything that goes in to making this organization function as well as it does. It's a great place!!!

I have been volunteering at Santa Claus Inc for over 20 years and we have the greatest group of volunteers in the world. I am in the clothing department for Christmas Distribution and we have several dedicated volunteers that come in week after week to package the children's clothing for Christmas. In addition the ladies in our sewing department REALLY helped us out this year as we were very short in Girls sizes 6 and 8 so they made over 200 size 6 jumpers many of them with tops to match and over 100 size 8 jumpers again some with tops to match. If we get clothing donated that needs to have a seam repaired or something else fixed, they figure out a way to make it usable for us. They are amazing. We could not do without all of the outside volunteers that make clothing for us and they also make blankets for the layette department, tote bags for the YES program and whatever else someone needs. It is a real "feel good" place to volunteer and as long as I am able I will be there!!!

They are all so dedicated to the mission of the organization and are willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done. I work with the clothing department for Christmas Distribution. We spend the entire year getting the clothing ready to be given to the needy children of the Inland Empire. It is a pleasure to volunteer here.

I have been volunteering at Santa Claus Inc for about 20 years and have enjoyed it all. We have a great team in the clothing department and work very well together. Watching parents choose clothing for their children during our Christmas Distribution is the highlight of our year. We have put in many hours starting in January to carefully package the clothing so that the parents get a real shopping experience instead of just handing them things that maybe their children would not like. When you hear parents say they just lost their job and this is the only Christmas their children will have and they have tears in their eyes it makes all our efforts worthwhile It is a great organization!!

I have been volunteering at Santa Claus Inc for over 15 years and continue to love it. Our volunteers put in lots and lots of hours putting together the clothes, toys and books for our Christmas Distribution. Other volunteers work just as hard with the year round program (Y.E.S. Youth Enhancement Services). Over the years many of our long time volunteers have passed away or are no longer able to come to the workshoppe on a weekly basis. We have plenty of need for additional volunteers to help with packaging particularly clothes and toys for our Christmas Distribution. We are open every Wednesday from 9 to 12 so if you have some free time on a Wednesday morning please come by and we will give you a tour and find a project for you!! You will get a good feeling when you help the needy children of the Inland Empire.

Working with the people in this organization has been terrific. They are all so dedicated. We are expanding the program so that we can make additional distributions of clothing, toys and books at other times during the year -- not just before Christmas. We are reviewing our process so that we get to the people that need help the most and are trying to help themselves. The recipients are always treated with dignity and respect -- we don't want them to feel then are not worthy just because they have found themselves in unfortunate sets of circumstances. They always express their gratitude for the gifts and the way they were treated. One great organization!!!
