Review for The Wayne Foundation Inc, Englewood, FL, USA
After listening to the 2 part interview with Jamie Walton, I couldn't help but be moved by her story and her life mission to help other children effected by child sex trafficking.
While I have never experienced anything close to what she went through, I work in an adult corrections facility and I often come across people who commit many similar crimes to what she experienced. I rarely ever hear what happened to the victims, unless they themselves end up in prison due to not getting proper care and treatment after they were victimized and commit a similar crime (continuing the circle).
It is great to hear that after everything she has been through, she was able to come out of it with a positive attitude and great perspective on life. I can only hope that by raising more money for her cause she can help turn these kids turn their lives around in a positive way so they can have the lives they deserve.
