This is a great organization and my favorite charity! I ask everyone to please give. The Wayne Foundation, Inc. spreads the word about domestic minor sexual trafficking and helps get passage of bills in states that are weak in protecting minors from this devastating crime. The ultimate goal is to build a rehabilitation center to make it possible for victims of this crime to get back into a normal productive life after suffering the cruelties they have faced. President and co-founder Jamie Walton is the best face for this organization being a survivor herself. You will not find a charity that makes the most of donations anywhere so please give what you can!

The amount of work needed to help bring this issue to light far exceeds what it should. Jamie Walton is doing everything she can to help actually make a difference and it shows. This organization is fighting a very serious problem and I am proud to help out in any way I can. DMST needs to be stopped and its victims need to be helped.

The Wayne Foundation is helping to battle a problem that seems to be overlooked by "polite" society. The horrors that men, women, and children have to endure because of sexual trafficking and slavery are all too real and this foundation is helping to take a stand against it. Every bit of effort counts.

Jamie Walton is one of the most caring people you could ever hope to meet. She's waging war on an issue that is non-partisan, yet also something a lot of our leaders seem to prefer to sweep under the rug. Through her passion and energy, Jamie is bringing the world of sex trafficking out of the shadows, and our public heightened awareness is absolutely making a difference.

The Wayne Foundation deserves your support - whether by direct donations, choosing them as your AmazonSmile charity, or just by spreading the word on social media. Do it! :)

I came into contact with "The Wayne Foundation INC" around 2013, and Jamie Walton shared her story with me and my friend who ran a podcast. Her story was impactful and brought me to a heigntened state of awarness of what "The Wayne Foundation" is about.

In life we have SO many non profits, but NONE are like "The Wayne Foundation" which has the most pure of intentions and is just here to HELP.

We live in a society of where so many "false" non profit's try to rise up. That time is done..

The real non profits that help are on the rise, with "The Wayne Foundation" on it's way up to make this year an amazing year so that 2017 brings about stuff so amazing that it can not be predicted or comprehended!

Please donate anything you are able to, its not just about money. Be WHO you are , and offer what YOU can.. Support, talking, money etc..

Take action on a cause that is REAL and here to help others!

Thank you for anyone who read's this and GOOD VIBES TO YOU!!

Much love !

When I first heard of The Wayne Foundation I thought it sounded like it was for an awesome cause. And the more I got to know Jamie Walton herself and finding out more about what she does every single day, the more I cared. Not only does TWF help spread the word about trafficking and other exploitations to the general public and law enforcement officials alike, they also help those that are at potential risk and those already caught up in the exploitive mess of crime and perversion. Jamie Walton and everyone involved at TWF are real life heroes in my book! Good work!

As with 99% of everybody I learned about The Wayne Foundation via Kevin Smith's podcasts. However, I did not immediately donate. Why?

Because I am very wary of donating to charities. Far too many don't put the majority of the funds donated to the actual cause they promote. I spend (probably) way too much time vetting and researching charities I think about donating to, making sure that the majority of funds are going to the cause they promote, that those involved are doing more than padding their resume, and more.

I have found nothing to object to in donating to The Wayne Foundation. Jamie Walton is an awesome person full of sunshine and Good Things™. She is very determined to meet and exceed the goals put forth for herself and the organization. She and her/the org's supporters continually come up with unique and interesting ways to engage potential donors and to raise awareness. You cannot go wrong with donating to The Wayne Foundation as it is a worthy cause run by dedicated and immensely approachable people.

Whether it's through their website, via Amazon.Smile (please choose them for Amazon.Smile) or now sending care packages you can do so with the Spider Mann (@spidermann) seal of approval.

Upon hearing Jamie's story on multiple podcasts, I became immediately taken in by the obvious passion & earnest efforts that the organization is putting into creating something meaningful. Since the project is such a large undertaking, I initially donated money towards helping them meet their first goal (acquiring a home for housing the girls they are going to be taking out of the sex trade industry & giving a new lease on life to). I didn't feel like I did enough. I have begun spreading the word to anyone who will listen, promoting the cause on social media & even recently created an art piece to use as promotion of the organization. It made its way through social media & was well-received. If it convinced one person to donate, then I feel like it was worth my effort. I wish I could help more, & am planning to do so as soon as I can. The more support the group can get, the quicker they will be to accomplishing these goals. Just remember... You Too Can Be A Hero!

I first heard of The Wayne Foundation back in 2011, after listening to Kevin Smith's podcast. At the time I was just about finished writing a short game for children. I contacted Jamie and asked her if I could put an add in that game, and also donate 25% of the profits made from selling it to TWF. She agreed, and off I went!

Since the 25% profits from that game just wasn't adding up to a ton of money, I also started organizing yearly charity bundles. I contact publishers of role playing games, books, artwork - anything that can be digitized. They donate product, I sell the bundle for $20 or so and all profits go to TWF.

This is a cause that I'm all for - I like Jamie's can-do attitude, I like what TWF is moving towards and I like that they are educating the public about child sex workers - an issue that needs far more attention. They've got my support.

Not only do I support the mission of The Wayne Foundation, but I support them financially as well. I've personally donated money, as well as part of the profits from a publication and I've worked many other publisher in a fundraising drive to raise over $1800.

I come to know Jamie Walton's story by following Kevin Smith, Yes The Kevin Smith that brought us such films as Clerks and Mall Rats and Jersey Girl. But Seriously, Smith heard about Jamie from twitter, sat her down to listen to her story. He was so moved he recorded and posted it in his media empire for all his listeners to hear and be motivated.

I guess, Kevin Smith, much like myself was so moved that he and Jamie got together to start an organization that would help, home and protect girls similar to Jamie's story! Thus was born the Wayne Foundation. Helping give a girl a fighting chance in this world who was abused and sold in to sexual slavery known as Trafficking!

I urge you please support this charity! Listen to Jamie's interview and follow The Wayne Foundation's progress! It is truly moving and touching! Jamie is that one person who from darkness is a beacon of hope for many young girls and women out there! Lets help her build this organization to where it can do the most good!

I feel that even though the-wayne foundation is still raising the money to open up a rehabilitation center for victims of domestic human trafficking, they are actively and successfully promoting awareness and helping to making actual changes. The President Jamie Walton has been speaking at various conferences, any fee donated directly to the-wayne foundation, raising public awareness, via interviews, podcasts & television. The-Wayne foundation has also been actively supporting the PA Senate Bill 338 and 885 with PA State senator Daylin Leach, this is for the national human trafficking resource center hotline notification act. I think that for a woman who holds down a full time job and manages all of the above, i consider The-wayne foundation a great success. I for one am happy to continue supporting this great cause and if nothing else i encourage you to learn more about domestic human trafficking and pass on this information to others.

The Wayne Foundation is truly a wonderful organization. It's goals are lofty, but I'm sure that with enough help, child trafficking and slavery will come to an end. Led by an absolutely tireless and inspirational person, Jamie Walton, who knows exactly how horrible the experiences of the child sex trade are, and supported by one of the finest (and funniest) men of our time, Kevin Smith, as well as a large number of people around the world, The Wayne Foundation strives for the day when they can build a facility to help the victims of this horrible crime. When that day comes, I would be more than happy to do anything to help, even if it means picking up a hammer myself.

This organization has no measurable results, except selling t-shirts and promoting its founder, a former lingerie model. Do not under any circumstances give money to the Wayne Foundation. They have no annual reports. They do not file required reports with the IRS. They only sell cheap trinkets and try to get interviews in an effort to prove their worthiness. Interviews in 2012? Probably 30. Victims served? 0.

These are legitimate concerns that we are happy to answer. The Wayne Foundation has filed 990 forms with the IRS for years 2010, 2011. In addition, the financial records for 2011 have been reviewed by an auditor. This information can be found on our website http://waynefdn.org/about. As any NPO can tell you, the charity division of the IRS has a backlog of 6-12 months. Though the 990 forms have not yet been uploaded to guidestar.org, they in fact were filed in compliance with 501(c)(3) regulation. As far as our accomplishments, TWF has done substantial work with what little man power we have. In 2012, Mrs. Walton was asked by Sen. Daylin Leach of PA to help with Senate Bill 338, posting of the NHTRC hotline. With Mrs. Walton's assistance, this bill was passed and signed by the governor of PA in Oct 2012. Sen. Leach was so impressed with our impact that he has invited Jamie to address the state legislature in 2013 for Senate Bill 885, which would expunge the records of sexual trafficking victims. In addition, Jamie also presents lectures about human trafficking issues. In Sept she was invited to be the key note speaker for Mental Health America (Montana). She addressed the conference about childhood trauma, and the positive affects of mental health care. For more information, we suggest you look at our news section. http://waynefdn.org/archives/category/news As far as funds raised, all money goes towards building a rehabilitation facility for DMST victims. This is a multimillion dollar project, that will take many years to complete. Our main mission is to spread awareness of sexual trafficking occurring within the United States. Jamie's story has been heard by millions of people around the world. Her advocacy has informed the public about this grave injustice occurring in our country. Admittedly, no victims are being assisted by TWF itself, but we are partnered with many non profits who are already operational. Just last week, TWF donated $200 worth of pajamas to GEMS Girls Christmas fund. These PJs went directly DMST survivors currently in rehabilitation as gifts. Additionally, TWF refers victims to organizations in their area that are able to provide services. This is a lot of information. I hope you have found it helpful, as you seem to be not very well informed about our work.

After hearing Jamie Walton's story, I wish I knew of some organization like the Wayne Foundation at the time to contact for information. TWF helps spread knowledge of child sex trafficking and slavery in order to end a crime that society seems to overlook or thinks is eradicated. This abuse is horrible for any human being, let alone one still maturing and discovering who they are. It would break anyone's heart to see someone they care about believe the only value they have is to be abused. This charity serves to protect and care for a group of victims who have had the most brutal of lives. A donation to this cause is not thrown away on books or cards, but places resources directly where it will be needed. Creating a shelter and rehabilitation center for children who have been through the cruelty of sex trafficking is just a start. The Wayne Foundation's goal to expand their mental and physical care to include even adults means that even people in need who have dealt with their pain for decades could find a safe haven. There are few charities with such important, specific goals, marking this as an incredibly important one to support. The staff cares deeply for the charity and have been very eager to reach out and make sure donors are happy and aware. I cannot recommend The Wayne Foundation enough.

It is no secret that politically charged issues cause a division among citizens of the United States. This is no more prevalent during an election period. However, The Wayne Foundation exists to promote a cause that we as the American public can all rally behind as one strong voice. A vision to end human trafficking in this country is an ideology with no hidden agenda, no selfish political motivation, and no dispute towards its moral objectives. Simply hearing the story of founder and President Jamie Walton is enough to move any caring human being into action. Beyond her first-hand experience in the world of child sex trafficking, Mrs. Walton has publicly made it very clear what her intentions are with The Wayne Foundation. She has stressed financial transparency and fiscal responsibility in regard to how the organization is run. As a CPA, I find this a primary strength of any organization, non-profit or otherwise. If her business sensibilities were not enough, Mrs. Walton also makes herself very publicly accessible and available to anyone who reaches out to her through public appearances, social media, and even personal email. For these reasons, I feel compelled to write this review of The Wayne Foundation, an organization who truly is trying to make a difference in this world and in the lives of those who may feel like the world has turned its back on them. This is the heart of what true compassion and caring are all about.

The Wayne Foundation is one of the very few human trafficking organizations that is doing the right thing. Very few of these organizations are led by survivors of this crime, because so few of them have the courage to really do the hard work that has to be done. Jamie Walton is courageous, hard-working and smart. So, to all the girls and boys out there who are victims of this abuse, hang on! Jamie is coming to get you!

The Wayne Foundation is an amazing organization run by amazing people. It is nice to have a place where I can donate money and not have to worry about it lining the pockets of some big wig businessman to have luncheons with. If you want to help stop the trafficking, prostitution, and slavery of children then I urge you to donate to the Wayne Foundation.

After listening to the 2 part interview with Jamie Walton, I couldn't help but be moved by her story and her life mission to help other children effected by child sex trafficking.
While I have never experienced anything close to what she went through, I work in an adult corrections facility and I often come across people who commit many similar crimes to what she experienced. I rarely ever hear what happened to the victims, unless they themselves end up in prison due to not getting proper care and treatment after they were victimized and commit a similar crime (continuing the circle).
It is great to hear that after everything she has been through, she was able to come out of it with a positive attitude and great perspective on life. I can only hope that by raising more money for her cause she can help turn these kids turn their lives around in a positive way so they can have the lives they deserve.

Jamie has committed her life to helping others who were in her situation through the Wayne Foundation. Considering this is her groups first year in existence her financial are being filed at the end of the year. Her organization is a GuideStar Partner in Trust, which means that there is an open transparency to her books and to her organization.

For those who work in the non profit field like I do know, Guidestar's Partner in Trust Program is a top of the line program to keep organizations honest.

Please before you judge and condemn, take a look at the facts and please know from working with Jamie I can tell you her cause is true and she welcomes any questions regarding her organizations finances because there is nothing to hide.

There is nothing behind this cause but to truly help people who have fallen into unfortunate situations where they are taken advantage of.

As someone who deals with troubled young adults on a regular basis, all I can say is The Wayne Foundation is a beacon of light for these people when they think all hope is lost and nobody cares about them.

Jamie is very compassionate and knowledgeable and is what makes this foundation viable for the future. I look forward to contributing more to this cause in the near future and to help The Wayne Foundation grow.

When I first heard Jamie's story, it brought tears to my eyes. Really made me think, and still can not believe there are people out there that would do terrible things to anyone, let alone children. This is an amazing Non-Profit. I have had a chance to talk to both Jamie and her Husband Chase. These two are saints people... I have donated to TWF a couple of times now, and will continue to do so as often as I can. Sometimes it may only be a couple bucks. But I know that it makes Jamie smile really big when she see's donations come on. Pass this on to your friends, spread awareness. Let the Wayne Foundation signal be seen(Batman reference) and know that, hopefully one day we can live in a world without Human sex trade trafficking.

I too had only heard about The Wayne Foundation through Jamie's SMinterview podcast with Kevin Smith. Anyone who doubts Jamie or Kevin's veracity should listen to the episode. They are frigging brutal and honest and sincere. Doubting this woman is really, really BS. And so is posting lies about her, the foundation, or Mr. Smith.

I also heard of Jamie's story through SMinterview on Kevin Smith's SModcast Internet Radio. Her story was compelling, heartbreaking and lovely all at the same time. I applaud her for turning it into a way to help others in her former position into a better life. Kudos to this organization for doing what we all should be doing: treating young women (and adult women) with the respect and love they deserve, helping them break their shackles of oppression, and helping them realize that they are in fact wonderful members of our society. I think Jamie is truly dazzling

It has come to my attention that someone has launched a personal attack towards Jamie Walton, Kevin Smith, and the Wayne Foundation. The Wayne Foundation, Jamie Walton, and Kevin Smith work tirelessly with no personal benefit or compensation for their efforts.

I have personally donated many times. As such I have rigorously reviewed their published financials and the viability of their efforts and organization. Jamie has been very vocal and transparent about her goals. Building a facility to transition affected individuals will take a large capital outlay, and until those monies are available the activities of the foundation will be petitions, awareness, education, public speaking, etc.

If someone takes the time to explore The Wayne Foundation, Jamie's back-story, or even just listens to her interiew with Kevin Smith you will be convinced at the genuine need for her role, the foundation, and the continued support of the public.

The individual who has attacked Kevin, Jamie and The Wayne Foundation and who refers to themselves as "Fact Checker" is a charlatan, a hoax, and has done no meaningful research.

I first heard Jamie Walton talk about her experiences and the importance of The Wayne Foundation in an interview (SMinterview) with director Kevin Smith.

Her story is both heartbreaking and uplifting at the same time. That someone so young could overcome the worst the world could throw at her, and that in turn she could dedicate herself to helping others who might not have her strength is a (if not THE) testimony to the strength of the human spirt.

I have, and will continue to, donated to The Wayne Foundation because it is a cause in which I believe (what parent wouldn't), Jamie and Kevin are good stewards for the donations, and they run an organization that runs on total financial transparency. There are no secrets as to where the money goes.

Jamie is a warrior for those who cannot fight for themselves, a voice for those without one, and a light in the darkness. Consider donating any amount you can to this amazing, important foundation. Be the superhero you've always imagined you could be...

Jamie Walton, Kevin Smith and other members of the board for The Wayne Foundation are doing amazing work getting the word out and raising money to help these children. I have spoken to Jamie on twitter she is a wonderful person. Anyone who has heard her story on SMinterview knows how close to her heart this is. Most people don't even know how bad sex trafficking really is and they are using a platform that will reach a whole demographic that wouldn't normally be reached. This organization is definitely deserving of your donations.

I believe a great deal in The Wayne Foundation and all the help it can do for young people (because its not only girls in this situation) involved in sex trafficking and child abuse. Yes, the charity may still be growing and as with all organisations it will take time to achieve its goals but with help and support it can get there. I full support the work of Jamie Walton and @ThatKevinSmith in the Foundation and hope and pray that one day it will no longer be needed and all of the disgusting behaviour of these individuals will be eradicated. On a personal note, to the troll who posted the negative review, you really need to find a better way to spend your time than to belittle those who are genuinely trying to help

I don't have any personal experience with human trafficking however, thanks to the honesty and passion of Jamie Walton on the SMinterview podcast at smodcast.com i've come to appreciate my own situation in life a bit more, and also realized that the world can be a cruel place if left without a smile. The world is full of wonderful people but crowded with apathetic ones, but Jamie Walton tries to bring us all together so we can learn to care for eachother a little better, and it's very insperational!

Jamie Walton and The Wayne Foundation stand bravely in the face of a terrifying enemy. Child Slavery is under-publisized and The Wayne Foundation shines a light directly at it. A former victim herself, Jamie spreads the word and raises money to help fight a problem that is truly evil. Jamie has her heart set on helping educate about this horrible problem as well as eventually providing a safe environment for children rescued. Again WF has my trust. I have donated money and will continue to and plan to donate time and whatver else I can to make sure WF has the tools needed to fight . Please check out Jamie Waltons story.

This foundation addresses the overlooked need to create a safe haven for young girls sexually abused and trafficked with nobody to turn to. The founder J Walton knows from experience how dire this need is. I think of my nieces and think of how innocent and vulnerable they could be if circumstances were different for them.
The passion and devotion to making this place a success makes me want to give all the support I can to this worthy cause.

I learned about the Wayne Foundation while listening to Jamie Walton on the SMInterview podcast. I was absolutely captivated by her story. She is one of the strongest, smartest, and most resilient people I have ever heard speak.

Since then I am committed to doing all I can to spread awareness of the WF and the plight of human trafficking. As well as, doing all I can to helping them achieve their goals of housing and aiding victims of this terrible crime.

The majority of American citizens think of human trafficking as something you only see in the movies. Those who know that it is a current and real problem rarely think that it happens in our united states. The hundreds of thousands of US victims beg to differ.

The issue of human trafficking needs more attention. The Wayne Foundation is doing great work trying to spread more awareness while raising money to help the victims of this atrocious crime.

Making people aware of the problem of child prostitution is one of the best things the organization could do. But the Wayne Foundation does so powerfully as well as effectively is pretty beautiful. But still better than making us aware of the problem, the foundation is actually proposing a solution. Not pie-in-the-sky, but practical. No one can fix the whole world, but creating a home, a place that girls can go to get out of the life, a safe place... They're making a difference.
