Review for The Jericho House, Cleveland, GA, USA

Rating: 5 stars

The Jericho House is a well rounded counseling center for the addicted and their families. Providing help from detox to discipleship.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

Working and developing The Jericho House from 2009 to present.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

I would add a transition house.

Role:  Professional with expertise in this field & Founded.

Love all the comments and also saddens me as the founder of the Jericho House that we cannot please everyone. As with all non-profits reaching out to wounded people you step on toes and even offend people. It has been a tough journey for me and my family these past two years. We have gained more friends then we could ever hope for. Adding Rick as program director has brought the program up to a much more professional level and our number one priority is help the men overcome a life controlling problem called addiction. If the men who had a negative experience at The Jericho House are clean and sober, then I rejoice. Don't need their approval nor will take offense at their perception of me. It is not about me it is about raising up many programs to reach out to families who need answers. No business or organization starts out perfect, and we are still far from perfect. But lives are being changed for ever. I would rather have someone come to the Jericho House and leave disliking me and free from their addiction than to leave loving me yet continuing their destructive path and old lifestyle. Jericho House now has many faithful partners where as in days past it was a lonely venture. To all and everyone I am grateful, but most of all I am grateful to God who rescued me 19+ years ago and has allowed me to do what I was put here on earth to do. I hope we all find purpose and meaning to our existence. God Bless, Larry McKenna
