Review for Marian Manor Corporation, Pittsburgh, PA, USA

Rating: 5 stars

Marian Manor is, in my opinion, the best nursing home in Pittsburgh - bar none! My mother was a resident in their Special Care unit for 5 years and she received IMPECCABLE care. People go to Marian Manor to LIVE -- not to die. It is very homey and cozy and the staff has very low turnover because they truly CARE. I witnessed staff kissing and hugging my mother when they did not know I was there. I visited all hours of the day and the care was always consistent -- just excellent. I was the daughter who said "I will never put my mother in a home" and the first day I took her to Marian Manor, I felt such peace, because I saw that they could take better care of her than even I could. I am now a member of Marian Manor's Board of Directors because I sincerely believe in their mission and I want to give back for the priceless gift they gave me in taking such fine care of my Mom.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

every way. I have seen all levels of patient care as a family member of a resident and a member of Marian Manor's Board.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

Expand its campus so no one is told their are "No rooms available" when they apply to live there.
