Their work is complemented and extended by a dedicated corps of volunteers numbering 148. We sustain multiple community partnerships that ensure our programs serve to enrich the lives of all who are entrusted in our care. Serving persons of all religious backgrounds and income levels (61. 06% of residents receive medicaid), marian manor provided approximately $3. 4 million in benevolent care during fy 2017. We are able to do so thanks to a dedicated community of donors who enable the continued enhancement of programs and facility improvements through their financial support.
Marian Manor is, in my opinion, the best nursing home in Pittsburgh - bar none! My mother was a resident in their Special Care unit for 5 years and she received IMPECCABLE care. People go to Marian Manor to LIVE -- not to die. It is very homey and cozy and the staff has very low turnover because they truly CARE. I witnessed staff kissing and hugging my mother when they did not know I was there. I visited all hours of the day and the care was always consistent -- just excellent. I was the daughter who said "I will never put my mother in a home" and the first day I took her to Marian Manor, I felt such peace, because I saw that they could take better care of her than even I could. I am now a member of Marian Manor's Board of Directors because I sincerely believe in their mission and I want to give back for the priceless gift they gave me in taking such fine care of my Mom.
