I adopted Apricot and Olivia, two sisters with Cerebellar Hypoplasia. I had lost my kitten with it to FIP and wanted to give a home to another special needs cat. They arranged several visits in different locations with the special needs cats so I could see them interact and in the end I did not want to break up the two sisters who had come so far together. They are both well behaved, litter trained and will respond to their names, which I did not change. I would definitely adopt from them again!

I wanted to adopt a cat with special needs and had found one from NAR online. Upon completing the paperwork I met three separate cats with the same condition (cerebellar hypoplasia), met two volunteers who were both very helpful and friendly. I ended up adopting two handicapped sisters, Apricot and Olivia, whom are both well and still with me. The foster mother was happy to answer questions, and help me with any issues.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
my life everday. I have two dear cats with a condition not many know about - even the Vet's. I love to see their little faces everyday when I get home and am glad to pass on the knowledge they have given me.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
not change anything.
