Review for Halleck Creek Ranch Therapeutic Riding and Equine Assisted Activities, Nicasio, CA, USA
Our son has been participating in the Saturday rides each week for nearly 7 years now. He has autism and poor muscle tone. My husband and I love walking the trail alongside the horses, participating in the various activities provided by the staff, fundraising, and just spending time in such a beautiful place with people who care so deeply about our son. We never feel judged and know we can always be comfortable there, no matter how our son behaves because everyone there accepts him just the way he is. The staff is always full of energy and encouraging words, and they understand what it means to truly be inclusive. A trip to Halleck Creek is therapeutic for the entire family, not just our son!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
Never-ending energy and enthusiasm from the staff and volunteers.
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
Their passion for helping people with disabilities live life without barriers.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
Superior and highly dedicated. One very special volunteer is Oona Ziegler. As a very young girl (12 yrs), she began helping at the ranch and raised the bar for all volunteers with her unmatched dedication and support of the program.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
Give every person with a disability, no matter how great or small, wings to fly!
