My Nonprofit Reviews

Review for Food For The Poor, Coconut Creek, FL, USA
I will not donate to a charity that pays $388,000 to a CEO. To me, that is more than anyone needs to earn especially when the money comes from donations. That salary is pure greed.

Review for National Center For Missing And Exploited Children, Alexandria, VA, USA
The salary of the President/CEO over $800,000 is obscene. Noone is worth that much money. And I will not be donating 1 penny to this charity. It may have a 4 star rating but I won't be contributing

Review for American Bible Society, Philadelphia, PA, USA
In the past I have donated to this charity even though it wasn't rated as high as I would have liked. After all, spreading the Gospel is a command from my Lord. But now after seeing the 14.5% spent on fund-raising and the salary of the president - $409,000 - sadly I cannot in good conscience donate to the Society any longer. I need to know that all of my money is providing Bibles - not being wasted.

Review for CARE (Cooperative for Assistance and Relief Everywhere), Atlanta, GA, USA
Let's say I am a former donor. I have been looking very closely at the salaries of the CEOs. I will not donate to CARE as long as the CEO makes $406,000. If they can afford to pay that high a salary, they don't need my money. I'll put it someplace locally.

Review for Back To The Bible, Lincoln, NE, USA
I have been listening to Back to the Bible on radio for several years and have found the teaching to be true to the Bible. Dr. Kroll has a way of teaching that is very easy to understand. Even though I have been a Christian for many years, I find that I learn something new or have something clarified quite frequently. The only negative thing I have to say is that they send out too many mailings per month - 3, 4 or more. To me this is a waste of money. I only need 1 mailing per month since I am a regular contributor.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
helping to spread the Gospel far and wide.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
decrease the amount of mailings.
