My Nonprofit Reviews
Review for Kindred World (Multiple Initiatives), Williamsburg, VA, USA
In my work that revealed epidemic C-PTSD (Complex Post-traumatic stress disorder) in and among Elephant societies, I discovered that the lives and experiences of human and nonhuman Animals are tragically intertwined. They are mirror images of each other caught in the brutal web of colonialism and capitalism. Kindred counters and heals with the revitalization of another, ancient web - the seamless continuity of kinship in mind and soul we all share as Earth beings. Viva Kindred!! - G.A. WCCLAS is a leader and a model for professionals and the public seeking to protect wildlife who is so imperiled today. Throughout my dealings with WCCLAS, I have been impressed with their stellar scholarship, ethics, and commitment to positive collaboration. This latter quality is both critical and rare in the competitive and divisive atmosphere that sadly characterizes so many interactions today. Because of WCCLAS' dedication, efficacy, and ethical integrity, it comprises a vital contribution to wildlife conservation and society at large. I cannot recommend anyone more highly.
