Review for PrideRock Wildlife Refuge, Terrell, TX, USA
I have volunteered at PrideRock Wildlife Refuge for almost two years and all I can say is this place is my home away from home. The owners, staff and most importantly the residents (the cats) are all a total joy. PrideRock is a very special and loving place for all of those that are in need of rescue and finding permanent living, a forever home. I do the photo's for the FB page and find so much joy in doing this to share the cats beauty and maintain a closed to the public facility. Closed to the public is sooo beneficial to the cats. Their beauty is to be shared and the public gains knowledge of how these big cats can be exploited and basically tossed away when they no longer make money in the entertainment industry or individuals can no longer care for their Big fluffy pet. That's why PrideRock is here, they provide a place, a life and safety for all of those in need of rescue. I hope to Volunteer for PrideRock for many, many years to come. It's absolutely a little piece of heaven. I LOVE THOSE BIG CATS!
Review for PrideRock Wildlife Refuge, Terrell, TX, USA
I have been a volunteer for several months at PrideRock and all I can say is this is the most incredible refuge for all the residents. It is a quite location set back in tree filled beauty. All the residents are happy, very well cared for and very much loved. I look forward every week to make my drive out to PrideRock, I only wish I'd started volunteering here years ago, these cats mean the world to me, it's an honor to be at PrideRock. Gary and Carol have truly put their heart and soul into creating a little piece of heaven for the lives of all the Lions, Tigers, Cougars, it's a forever home filled with love and care.

Review for In-Sync Exotics, Inc., Wylie, TX, USA
Went to visit In-Sync with my daughter and 2 small grand kiddo's almost 2 years ago - Let's just say they had me from day one. In-Sync is an incredible magical place, it is a place of love and care, the animals here are top priority and their needs will be met whether it be nourishment, enrichment or medical they receive all that is needed to continue a protected and happy life. This is what In-Sync and their founder Vicki is all about, providing a special haven for those that were at the end of their road for hope or home, there are not many options available to what is considered your not so average adoptable creature - Vicki, staff, volunteer's, contributors and visitors make this all possible. I've always been a big cat fan, even since childhood, big cat pajama's, big cat art, nicnaks, and this and that, etc, etc. The most wonderful feeling after a day of volunteering for these big beautiful cats is, WOW, this is one of the most awesome opportunities in my entire lifetime - Those big cats sure do make my day, they are like sunshine - they are the most awesome furry friends to ever to be blessed with.

Review for In-Sync Exotics, Inc., Wylie, TX, USA
I heard about In-Sync about a year and half ago and finally got to go there back in June with my daughter and two small grand kids. It was amazing, the grand kids are ages 1 and 4, they were captivated and in awe of everything around them at In-Sync, their attention was focused on the beauty of all the cats and the four year old had question after question. He latched on to a volunteer, I don't think she got a moments peace with all he wanted to know but she took the time and patience to answer all of his inquiries and if she didn't know, she'd find out. He still asks me about the cats when I see him, he hasn't forgotten about them or the lady.
I signed up to volunteer at In-Sync and loving every minute of it. The staff and volunteer's truly hold the well being of all that come to live in sanctuary here. So many of the residents had horrible lives and were neglected, abused and starved before their journey brought them to In-Sync. Some of them never had an opportunity to see daylight or have the opportunity to lay in the grass and just be a carefree feline. So happy to say they have it all now and its all because of In-Sync and all of its devoted staff.
If I lived closer, I'd be volunteering more than 1 to 2 days a week. The place brings such happiness while out there, I'm loving it! It would be great if there were more laws prohibiting people from having these large and exotic animals including side shows/circus's, breeders (same as puppy mills), But until then I'm so thankful for the blessings of In-Sync, they turn the cats lives around and give them a new and happy beginning. This place Rocks and Rawrrrr's ;x
