Review for Service Organization Benefiting Recovery, Houston, TX, USA
Counselors practiced unethical and barely legal practices including undermining children's self esteem, berating children, threatening to remove them from their home, threatening dangerous state inpatient recovery services with proven assaults on previous clients.

Increase supervision of all counseling, especially out-patient treatments. Also, for an organization to claim it is spiritual without a specific religious denomination, it showed a lack of understanding of any belief beyond a judeo-christian mindset, which needs to be corrected in either it's advertisement materials or practice.
