I have been a donor and activist for Drug Policy Alliance for many years, having found them to be the most comprehensive umbrella for education and advocacy for implementation of rational policies to end the "War on Drugs". Because DPA is not "substance specific", its work touches all areas of policy impact including fiscal, civil rights, criminal-justice, harm reduction, public health and political. Consequently, donors and advocates with diverse interests in changing drug policy have found in DPA an impactful and coordinated base of support and direction toward advancing the debate. DPA and its staff offer a depth of knowledge, experience and drive that no other single organization involved in drug policy can offer.

The bi-annual International Drug Policy Reform Conference organized by DPA hasrepeatedly been a valuable link for me to understand where help is needed. In addition, I have seen DPA's positive impact in educating legislators and government officials to implement, extend and protect harm reduction policies.

I would make no change - DPA has always been very responsive to its volunteers and donors.
