Review for Big Cat Rescue, Corp., Odessa, FL, USA
BCR is home to abandoned and/or rescued cats. They have a rigorous keeper training program and have many volunteers as well as staff. The people are wonderful and nothing is too good for the cats. Highly recommend.
Review for Charitable Humans, Mill Creek, WA, USA
If I could rate this 'charitable' organization with a minus ten stars I,would. They tweeted that they would not assist the Houston flood victims because they are in a "red state". Scum. Lower than pond scum. Disgusting.,
The tweets this reviewer is referring to was the result of the unauthorized use of our organization's social media accounts by a former volunteer. The tweets were offensive and are not representative of our views, values, or philosophy. The moment we were made aware of these tweets we down the social media and took control of the situation. We also posted an apology and detailed explanation of what had occurred. Charitable Humans is neither equipped or experienced to respond or intervene in natural disasters or other domestic crises, so making the tweets somewhat what truthful in that we wouldn't be responding, but the reason why we aren't getting involved was a complete fabrication. Our hearts go out to everyone whose lives have been affected by the disaster, and while we wish we had the resources and abilities to help everyone in all situations, sadly we can't. This reviewer is reviewing our organization based on speculative assumptions; they have never worked, volunteered, or had any involvement with our organization as a supporter or benefactor. While we certainly appreciate honest criticism, whether it's good or bad, this review isn't a review of who we are or what we do as an organization; it's based on events that were beyond our control at the time.

I found BCO when I was told by my ex-PCP on Friday at 4PM 'you have breast cancer. I am sorry I can't tell you anymore. You need to talk to an oncologist.' Nice. I read article after article and by Monday morning was armed with solid information. From there on, the BCO boards helped me through treatment and after, I made many good friends whm I have met in real life.
There are many good articles posted daily and I think BCO is outstanding.
