My Nonprofit Reviews

Mary Ruth
Review for ICAN, International Cancer Advocacy Network, Phoenix, AZ, USA
Ican facilitates cancer patients , who are under stress, to find the treatment center that is doing the the most advanced work in their area of caner.
A friend in Boston called me. She was understandably very tense and stressed. Her grandson had just been diagnosed with cancer.
Her husband was an eye doctor but they were looking for cancer treatment expertise. ICAN , she later told me, was able to talk to them knowledgeably , with sympathy, empathy and care.
