My Nonprofit Reviews

Review for Healthquarters Ministries Inc, Colorado Spgs, CO, USA
I was first diagnosed with stage 3C ovarian cancer in 2004. I've now had 4 recurrences, multiple surgeries, rounds of chemo, and even some radiation. I have enjoyed some times of remission, but it keeps coming back. So many people have come to me with nutritional advice and there are so many books, products, etc on the market that i found it overwhelming and confusing. Also, I was skeptical and felt that alot of people were mainly out to make a buck. Still, I kept hearing that still, small voice saying that fighting cancer with nutrition made sense, regardless of what many in the traditional medical community might say.
I finally came upon the book A Cancer Battle Plan (written by David and Anne Frahm, founders of HealthQuarters Ministry) which was such an encouragement and written in a way that made sense to me. I followed some of what was outlined in the book, but when the cancer just recently came back, I knew I wanted someone to come along beside me and that I needed to go full steam ahead with a battle plan of my own. While seeking just the right person, it occured to me to turn to HealthQuarters for the help and support I needed.
I have been very impressed with everyone that I've spoken with at HealthQuarters and have been conversing with Dr. Frahm via telephone. He has a wealth of knowledge from his many years of experience and has helped me to clear away the unnecessary from the necessary supplements so that I can get my cancer ravaged body back into alignment. I feel I finally have someone who knows what they're talking about, someone I can trust.
