Review for Desert Mission Inc, Scottsdale, AZ, USA

Rating: 5 stars

Though gainfully employed at the moment, my spouse, who is the TRANS-GENDEREDTRAILBLAZER a published author and I volunteer at the DESERT MISSION FOOD BANK and it is wonderful, heartfelt experience. The full time volunteers and the paid staff are doing more with less to the point you could ALMOST swear there is some sort of beautification being performed on a daily basis.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

The smiling thankful faces of the homeless, jobless citizens that are struggling on a daily basis, whether it is just to fill their family's bellys, or to be given the reward knowing others do care about their plight. By the grace of god I go too

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

NOT CHANGE A THING, their network of givers, whether at the corporate, or grass roots level is phenomenal.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

Knowing I can give back to my community, even when I am struggling with my burden, the guilt of having when so many do not, makes my prayers to be answered.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

Were from all races, ethnicities, walks and ages!

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

Really make a change, just be doing more outreach and teaching those who desire ways to take better care of themselves.

Ways to make it better...

If there was a network of givers across the nation, NO THE WORLD, alas though there seems to be so may haves that can not see the beauty of giving just enough to the have nots, THE ONE AND ONLY CONDEMNATION I HAVE CONCERNING CAPITALISM IS THAT IT CAN BE..

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

Finding more ways to get the needed supplies to the people who cannot make the trip.

One thing I'd also say is that...

BLESS DESERT MISSION
