Words cannot adequately express the joy that the Childhood Leukemia Foundation and its donors recently brought to my five year old son. He was diagnosed with an Optic Glioma on March 30, 2011, and he started receiving chemo-therapy on April 12. His diagnosis was a real shock to our family, and in many ways, we are still processing it all.

A few weeks ago, my son arrived at the oncology clinic to find your gift basket waiting for him, and it brought a huge smile to his face. Your generosity not only lifted his spirits, but the spirits of his parents as well. Thank you for your kindness and thoughtfulness; it touched our hearts deeply.

He was able to purchase a few things with his Gift Card. The items include: a Hex Bug, a Zhu Zhu Pet, the Zhu Zhu Pet Police Station, and the Kung Zhu Battle Station. He was also thrilled to receive his very own MP3 player (included in the gift bag), and he immediately informed his daddy that it was "for kids only."
