Review for ACCION USA, New York, NY, USA
I have worked at ACCION USA as a volunteer for 4 months and I think it is an incredible organization! To me, the work ACCION USA does helps democratize our economy by offering credit to small business owners who otherwise would not be able to get a loan. In addition, there is a ripple effect as the business creates jobs in the local community.

Hearing clients enthusiasm while I was interviewing them about their experience with ACCION USA made me realize how much ACCION USA has affected lives and communities. Jorge Ayala, the owner of La Fonda Boricua, opened his business after he saw the local Puerto Rican hang out going out of business. He now mantains a restuarant that is a center of puerto rican culture in uptown Manhattan.
