The Green Beret Foundation has really made a difference in the military community. They really go above and beyond to provide for the military community that they serve. They are constantly meeting financial, social and emotional needs for service members and their families and I’m so grateful for the important work they are doing.

Got to meet some of the reps from GBF at an event a year ago and I got a chance to volunteer as one of their other events. I give a monthly donation to support their scholarships.
I really like The Green Beret Foundation. It’s great organization to support the military families and community.Keep up the good work!
There is no organization that is more professional. The Green Beret Foundation is a great example of the right people matched to the right mission or as Jim Collins puts the right people in the right seat on the right bus.
If you are looking for an organization that gives back to the Quiet Professionals who never ask for help, the Green Beret Foundation is that organization.
I’ve been affiliated with this organization as a volunteer and a beneficiary. The GBF’s level of commitment to taking care of their own is unlike anything I’ve experienced. It was a load lifted and a blessing for them to come through for us when they did. I want more of our GB families to understand what an ally they have in the GBF.
As a Steel Mag, I have seen the Green Beret Foundation serve Green Berets and their families in ways that no other organization can. Every request I have personally put in on behalf of a 5th Group Green Beret has been approved. It is an honor to volunteer for this organization.
I’ve seen firsthand the impact this charity has on families in my community and it’s truly inspiring!
Being part of the Steel Mags has introduced me to all the amazing things the Green Beret Foundation has to offer. Although I have only volunteered, I feel so blessed in knowing the support this outstanding organization offers to Green Berets and their families should we ever need it.
The Green Beret Foundation is an amazing organization who stepped in to help an active duty GF who was diagnosed with a cancerous brain tumor. All within 1 day!
Seeing how the GBF helped several families in our community through different situations led me to become involved as a Steel Mag. We are so thankful for this organization and all it does to help Green Berets and their families.
I am a proud supporter of GBF and lucky to be a part of the sisterhood that is the Steel Mags. These two organizations are dedicated to selflessly serving others. Proud to be a volunteer and a Steel Mag!
GBF has actively helped countless green berets and their families in our area. Through financial assistance during hard times to simple “we are here” calls. This Foundation is top notch- sincere and passionate in their drive for supporting our SOF community.
As a volunteer medical liaison for 10th Group, I've had the privelege of working with the GBF on multiple cases over the years. They have always been one of the most responsive and accommodating organizations when it comes to helping soldiers and their families. They are staffed with knowledgeable, competent people (a rarity these days), and have never failed to impress both me and the families I serve.
After years of experiencing this organization from the outside, I decided to dive deeper and volunteer to lead a Steel Mags chapter for the GBF. Seeing it from the inside is just as impressive. An agile, quick moving system that's built to help the SF community from the ground up. I can't recommend the GBF highly enough.
I've been a member of the Steel Mags, the wonderful spouse support group within the Green Beret Foundation, for about a year now. As a member of the Fort Bragg chapter, we've been provided incredible support by working with other women in the chapter. The chairs, Lizzie and Sarah, have been so helpful, and we get to ban together and do things that benefit the service members we support. In addition to supporting active duty and veteran Special Forces families, we also work hard with Gold Star Families so they know that they are not alone. GBF staff is always on call, and makes a point to make themselves accessible to families.
Green Berets give up so much to make sure our great country has an equally great fighting force. That being said, these guardians deserve a quality organization to support them. This is the Green Beret Foundation.
With out the GBF our husbands and families would not get that extra help they need. The GBF helped my husband by working with the Care Coalition while Med-boarding out after an IED injury. They also help by providing extended care, in our case the Hyperbaric chamber for TBI. Without this organization many soldiers and their families would be suffering unnecessarily, thank you GBF, you rock!!!

A friend of mine introduced me to the group a few months ago. My husband recently got injured in AFG and has a TBI injury. The ladies in the group have already been so supportive and I have felt at home immediately. We all know what we are going through. The words of encouragement from them have been so helpful and keep me positive and focused. Jen who heads this all with her assistants, is truly an amazing woman. We received a wonderful package in the mail today with items for the whole family. Jen has also offered much needed help for anything my husband may need, where possible. This is truly a wonderful organization and they do wonderful things for people who need them in their hour of need. If it wasn't for the GBF, many a soldier and family would have had nowhere else to turn. I am proud to support the GBF and proud to be a Green Berets Wife.
Very easy to navigate and get started helping those who sacrificed so much. I am very anxious to be part of giving as when I was wounded and going through so many surgeries my brothers with green faces were there for me. A wonderful foundation to be a member.
For as long as I have known the about the Green Beret Foundation I have seen a relentless effort to support our special forces soldiers as well as their families. The people at the GBF are some of the most professional and hard working individuals I've had the honor of knowing and working with.
My friends and family who are Special Forces received a great amount of help when needed from GBF. Enough help that I volunteered myself and the foundation's leadership was always helpful, supportive, and easy to work with. This is a foundation tang deserves your support, few missions are more important than that of the Green Beret Foundation.
Sine Pari! Send me!
I can say that this is a group founded by members of the community it supports and has helped everyone from soldiers to their families. Whether it be medical treatment, counseling or a friend this organization is dedicated to helping Green Beret families.
I was just medically retired from the Army with 24 years in service. I have been dealing with severe headaches for almost 5 years since my vehicle hit a landmine in Afghanistan in 2008. I have tried a lot of treatments and have been told I would have to live with my headaches for the rest of my life. I received HBOT (Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy) treatment in 2010, which the USSOCOM Care Coalition found an organization that took care of housing and the treatment cost. The Army started a study on HBOT treatment during the same time frame that I was receiving treatment. However, the Army did not approve the use of HBOT due to the lack of evidence. Therefore, if a Soldier wants to receive HBOT treatment they would have to find a way to pay for the treatment on their own. Because the USSOCOM Care Coalition works for the Department of Defense, they are no longer allowed to aid the service member in finding a way to fund treatments because of the study’s inconclusive results.
This is where the Green Beret foundation comes in. I know the treatment works, even though it is for a short time. I have been told that the more treatments a person receives the longer the affects last. I went to greenberetfoundation.org and completed an application for help and was contacted by the Green Beret Foundation the following day and in less than a week I was called and told that the funds for the treatment had been taken care of.
I start treatment tomorrow and look forward to the benefits of HBOT. I hope it last longer this time, but even a couple of weeks of headache free days are worth the 40 treatments that are planned. If I could afford the treatments myself I would pay for them. The Department of Defense may think a few weeks of feeling normal does not justify the treatment, but they are not the ones that live with the headaches every day, with cluster headaches that can hit you at any moment making driving dangerous for everyone, nor do they have to wear sunglasses both day and night because of light sensitivity or deal with double vision. The Green Beret Foundation only asked that I let them know of my progress and the outcome of the treatment. This is the first time I have gone through the Green Beret Foundation and I found the process to be easy and the people there have been awesome.
I have many “brothers” who have been helped by the Green Beret Foundation and all have told me what a great organization it is. I thank the Green Beret Foundation for this opportunity and their service in helping my brethren and me with our issues.

As a civilian, I was so impressed with the Green Beret Foundation from my visit to their annual gala in San Antonio in 2011 that I created a company (Advantage Heroes) whose sole purpose is to raise funds for them. We held our first charity golf tournament here in Dallas back in October and they were incredibly helpful and an absolute joy to work alongside.
I had heard about this charity and the great work it was doing years ago. Then, a few months ago I found out that the Founder was one of my closest friends during my first few years in the military. After some catching up, I volunteered to help and it's been an honor and a pleasure to get back involved with the Army Special Forces community.
Truly amazing group of people and a very special and meaningful cause. I have participated in several efforts to raise money for the GBF and will continue to support their efforts to support America's hero's!
Green Berets in there self are known as the quite proffesional, never will ask on there own. The Green Beret Foundation is doing for them what is needed to help this warriors, who helps keeps our freedom as we know them.

I am a spouse of a 24 year Green Beret. I went to the GBF in search of support for a very select group of people that many of the non -profits do not recognize as having needs and support. I'm talking about the Spouses and caregivers of our SOF warriors. GBF stepped up in our time of need and have supplied the support we needed to organize and run a support/resource and mentor program for our Caregivers of severely wounded injured or seriously ill warriors. Thank you Green Beret Foundation for your support. You stepped up 1st when there was no where to turn.
