Mission: To preserve, interpret, and celebrate the culture and heritage of the Society of Separatists and Historic Zoar Village.
Target demographics: Our goal is to educate people of all ages and backgrounds about the importance of this nineteenth-century German village and the people who founded it.
Geographic areas served: Historic Zoar Village in Zoar, OH
Programs: Historic Zoar Village features fourteen museum buildings and a three-acre public garden. We offer tours, public programming, and educational classes, ranging from village and Ohio & Erie Canal tours and a free monthly Speaker Series to blacksmithing and watercolor classes. We host countless special events and festivals each year, such as Maifest, Harvest Festival, and Christmas in Zoar. Visit our website to learn more!
