Mission: Zanmi Lakay is a registered non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to providing at-risk youth in Haiti with knowledge, skills, support, and resources to expand their economic possibilities and improve their quality of life. Our School Sponsorship, Outreach, and Community Photography Programs empower youth in Haiti with an education, business and computer training, and the opportunity to be a part of and improve their own society.
Target demographics: improve the quality of life for current and former street children by providing educational and economic opportunities
Direct beneficiaries per year: 44 school sponsorship students and 30 photojournalism students
Geographic areas served: Jacmel and Port au Prince, Haiti
