Mission: YOUTHSCORE EDUTAINMENT GROUP INC. exists solely for the purpose of saving lives! Through the use of our gang prevention programs we have create a positive peer movement from within the community itself. Through the use of art in afterschool programs we encourage youth to form peer groups to promote and empower each other, forming a core of non-violence. With counseling and mentoring we nurture and expand these small micro-communities to grow virally. Though we only saved a few hundred at first our plan is to eventually reach millions nationwide, Blazing a Path to a Brighter Tomorrow! School
Results: We have collaborated with the child of Long Beach Parks to Produce our Plays in YouthScore's Summer Camp. We also participated in the Global Hour of Code.
Target demographics: We give Kids/Youth Positive Alternatives to Crime and Violence
Direct beneficiaries per year: 100 plus Families in our 15th Annual Feed the Community, 50 Kids in our 10th Annual Secret Santa
Geographic areas served: We are a Kids/Youth Creative, Performing and Digital Arts Organization
