Youthage was one of my favorite parts of my childhood. I met so many people working with Chef Rob and I'm glad to have learned so much from him. The whole organization is so nice, accepting, and caring and it was an honor to be a student and help support them in multiple fundraisers.

We discovered Youthage Culinary Specialists when my daughter's girl scout troup took a class with him. He taught ten 7-8 year olds how to cut veggies and cook chicken. I am impressed with his patience and grace with the kids. My son is neurodivergent and loves the classes too. This non-profit is raising a generation of children who will know how to safely prepare nutritious foods.

Chef Robert is great and very engaging with the kids. He keeps a rapport with them when they return. Aids in the kitchen (normally older kids/young adults) are great with the kids as well. Food was delicious and kids had a fun time!

Our kids love getting to work with Chef! They have been in Tiny Chef classes and have leaned so much, great safe knife handling skills as well as how to follow directions. Chef is patient and has taught them about culinary, working together and being respectful.
We are grateful to work with Chef Robert and Youthage Culinary and we can attest that our kids like it when they come home and play “Chef!”

I started volunteering at Youthage Culinary this summer. Chef Robert is great with the kids, firm yet kind in teaching kitchen safety and healthy eating. As a retired person who loves to cook and loves kids, I admire Chef’s lessons and am proud to stand beside him teaching these life affirming skills to children and people of all ages.

Our girls LOVE their experience at the Youthage Culinary! My daughters attended earlier this year with their Girl Scouts troop, where Chef Robert taught them how to make alfredo and marinara pasta sauces with fettuccine noodles from scratch. My daughters were so proud to talk about the class and share their dishes. They really like how funny the chef was and how he made cooking so much fun. I’ve signed them up for a few more classes after that and as a parent, I would highly recommend them. :)

Chef Robert has been very encouraging for my daughter. She has ADHD and has a very difficult time focusing. He meets her where she is at and makes it a positive experience. She has learned a lot and has even critiqued my cooking skills now!

Our daughter and her transition program have been working with Youthage for a few months now. She absolutely loves it. Chef Robert has so much more patience with her in the kitchen. The skills she is learning are definitely life skills. She is much more confident and wants to participate more. She also talks about making good food choices. She runs to us to show us what they cook and have us taste it. She is so proud of what she is now able to do. (We love the tasting. so yummy.) We couldn't be more pleased with the work being done at Youthage Culinary Specialist. Who doesn't love new skills and good choices. Cheers to all those at Youthage.

Chef Robert is truly one of a kind. He runs cooking classes for kiddos as young as four twice a week. The dishes they create range from sweet to savory. There are also holiday themed classes as well. Youthage is definitely a local gem and we are so glad we found it!

My two girls attended this program back in March. It was the junior chef class and they made a Raspberry oatmeal bar on that day. It was such a fun and informative class. The entire class that was there loved it. Not only were my girls able to have hands on time cooking and making this delicious dessert, but they were able to eat and take home this wonderful oatmeal bar. I would recommend any one who has young kids or young adults that are interested in the culinary arts or just love cooking. To come to this program. Chef Robert was very patient and knowledgeable. We will definitely be back.

My son Liam LOVES youthage culinary specialist and had a blast making Panko chicken nuggets, along with many other entrees throughout the past several months. We also have classes coming up.
Teaching kids all about nutrition and how delicious things can taste with easy swaps is an added bonus to also enjoying the delicious desserts/ entrees they make. Liam is so proud of himself and it gives kids confidence to cook/ bake and to know they are fueling their bodies correctly at the same time!
Liam loves learning how to cook and chef Robert is truly amazing and engages the kids. His passion for cooking transcends to his students and I just love seeing that!
