Mission: Youth frontiers' mission is to partner with schools to build communities where students thrive socially, emotionally and academically.
Programs: The organization provides character development retreats for schools throughout minnesota & the midwest. During the filing year, the organization delivered 861 retreats & worked with nearly 127,000 students & educators. Our programs include a kindness retreat for elementary schools; a courage retreat for middle schools & junior highs; a respect retreat, a wisdom retreat & leadership conference for high schools; & an honor retreat, purpose retreat & mind retreat for educators. According to independent research from the university of minnesota, our programs are a viable strategy for enhancing students' social-emotional learning & character development skills. They help strengthen students' bond to school, improve school climate & reduce negative & disrespectful behaviors like bullying & exclusion.
