Programs: In september 2013, the yosemite climbing association organized and co-hosted the tenth annual yosemite facelift. During this five day event, approximately 2,000 volunteers collected tons of trash from the roads, rivers, campgrounds and other areas of yosemite national park.
the yosemite climbing association sponsors interpretive programs within yosemite national park to help park visitors understand yosemite rock climbing and its history. During 2013, this program consisted of the ask-a-climber program based in el capitan meadow.
the yosemite climbing association is dedicated to preserving and protecting the rich climbing history and heritage of yosemite national park and making artifacts important to yosemite's climbing history available for public viewing and interpretation. Thousands of historically significant items have been cataloged for public display. This work continued during 2013.
