I had a heart transplant several years ago.I met the CEO of this organization on the volunteer trail.It seemed every place I went WCFR was there.They were relentless in their service to the people of Rockland County and Haiti.I remember meeting them after the earthquake in Haiti while they were campaigning everywhere to help there and back here in America too.My favorite experience I had with them was taking the Hands-Only CPR Class as the MLK Day of Service in 2015.This past December I was volunteering in the Palisades Center Mall in the food court when a young man passed out.Lots of people were standing around surrounding him and nobody was doing anything.I was able to jump in with confidence clear the crowd,send someone to security office,have someone call 911 and make sure to do my checkpoint on patient.Fortunately I did not have to compress him but I was ready.So I am grateful that I would have been able to save a life.Just an example of the things I have learned from WCFR.PROFESSIONAL INSPIRATIONAL GROUP
I support WCFR because it is a hands-on program. Not only do the members teach and train worldwide under dire circumstances, they are in the thick of it, they don’t mind getting their hands dirty. They are the epitome of professionalism. I am proud to be an advisor
I have really enjoyed volunteering at WCFR. The work is mostly rewarding. It can sometimes be difficult but we have a great team that goes above and beyond to meet our mission “to prevent death worldwide through education and training”.
I enjoyed the content of their “Be Prepared for the Disaster” presentation. I recommend it to my friends and neighbors to guide them to prepare a plan for the next disaster. Many people I know are still winging it, which is not safe.

Wow Jackie, This is an amazing project, and great opportunity for new and rich information. If you can’t be on the front lines, it does not matter. What matters is somebody has to be on the front lines for you, and/or on behalf of you. WCFR will do just that. All you have to do is send in your financial support and they will do the rest.
I strongly believe that WCFR’s two fold community grass roots philosophy, which maintains that teaching community members how to recognize and eliminate life threatening health hazards, as well as training community members in first aid and community response techniques is a highly effective way of changing and saving lives.
