Mission: To improve educational, economic and health outcomes for girls,create gender allies in boys, and promote community-wide enhancements in health and development.
Programs: Support wiser ngo kenya. Wiser ngo kenya runs a boarding secondary school for 120 girls, one third of whom are aids orphans. The school provides resources for a safe and effective education as well as healthy psychosocial development. Wiser ngo kenya also runs a primary school program called wiserbridge. This program serves over 700 mixed gender 8th grade students in 15 local schools helping them be more competitive for secondary schools.
provide educational opportunities for 12 duke students to volunteer in kenya for over two months in the summer.
