Programs: WILD for Human Rights seeks to impact political and social change in the United States. Our programs develop and expand the capacity of grassroots and national advocates for women and girls to integrate human rights into their work. Our programs include: The Young Women's Leadership Program: This peer-directed training and activist program works with youth from schools, community centers, youth organizations, and conferences to explore the relevance of human rights to their lives and their communities. Community Human Rights Initiatives: We educate community organizations and individuals on international human rights standards and collaborates with them to implement and monitor these standards in local governments, schools and public institutions. National Rights Program: We provide extensive workshops on human rights and convene and facilitate strategy sessions on topics such as women in custody and poverty. Our human rights training, drafting briefing papers, and attending United Nations Conferences enables us provide international bodies information about the status of women and girls in the United States.
