Mission: Our flagship outreach - #GimmeABreak - empowers widows of suicide victims and, family caregivers of the disabled, elderly, and chronically or terminally ill. We lift the veil of despair, burnout, scorn, and isolation with temporary foster caregiving, nutritional, stress-coping, and fitness workshops, peer networking, advocacy with employers and medical social services and our annual "Firebird ReTreat".
Target demographics: widows of suicide victims, and family caregivers of the disabled, elderly, or terminally ill.
