A Lifeline When I Needed It MostAfter 30 years of military service, I found myself in unfamiliar territory; grieving the unexpected loss of my mother and struggling to find purpose beyond the uniform. The transition to civilian life was far more difficult than I ever imagined.Everything changed when I attended a Women Veterans Interactive Foundation (WVIF) Pink and White event. I walked in alone and uncertain, and walked out embraced by a sisterhood I didn’t even know I needed. Through WVIF’s events, mentorship, and heartfelt support, I found healing, strength, and a renewed sense of direction.WVIF gave me more than support, it connected me with women who truly understand what it means to rebuild and reconnect after service. If you’re searching for community, healing, and a place to belong, this is where you’ll find it. Thanks to WVIF, I didn’t have to walk this path alone.

I joined the Women Veterans Interactive Foundation (WVIF) in November 2017, thanks to a sister veteran I barely knew at the time, who has since become a close friend. Since then, I’ve reconnected with women I hadn’t seen in years and built new relationships with others who share more than just military service. These women truly understand the unique challenges, strengths, and transitions that come with being a woman veteran.

What I found at WVIF is something I didn’t even realize I needed. This community was created by a woman veteran who recognized the gaps in support and took action to build a space specifically for us. It’s rooted in service and filled with women who uplift one another and support each other’s growth, both personally and professionally.

WVIF offers more than just programs and events; it brings us together through shared experiences and creates a space for connection that heals, empowers, and reminds us we’re not alone.

If you’ve ever felt like something was missing after service, whether it’s connection, community, or support, this is where you’ll find it.

Join us. You won’t regret it!

I’ve been part of the WVIF for the last few years and it’s been an exciting journey. Ginger’s Leadership is resilient and dedicated to our women veterans who have sacrificed so much for our country. Her ethic of care is inspirational and dedicated to serving the veteran community with dignity and compassion. I’ve had the great honor of serving on the board to drive sustainable growth and programs that make a lasting impact in the lives of our women veterans.

Empowering, Impactful, and Truly One of a Kind: WVIF Delivers

My recent experience with the Women Veterans Interactive Foundation (WVIF) has been nothing short of inspiring. From the moment I connected with the organization, I felt an authentic sense of community, purpose, and support. WVIF truly lives its mission; empowering, supporting, and advocating for women veterans at every stage of their journey.

Leadership (CEO, Ginger Miller, I’m looking at you!) and truly everyone involved are passionate and driven. The events are not only professionally executed but also deeply meaningful. Whether it's through networking opportunities, resource sharing, or advocacy efforts, WVIF continues to prove that it’s a vital lifeline for women who have served.

What stands out the most is WVIF’s ability to bring together women from various backgrounds and experiences and create a space where women are seen, heard, and valued. It’s clear that this isn’t just a nonprofit; it’s a movement, and I’m proud to be a part of it.

I highly recommend WVIF to any woman veteran looking for connection, growth, and the chance to make an impact and to anyone looking to support a powerful mission. Whether you’re a potential partner, ally, donor, or volunteer, this is an organization (1M%) worthy of your time and investment. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I first attended a WIF event in November of 2015 as a guest and was blown away with the esprit de corps, the inclusion and warmth of the organization and I wanted in immediately.
I became a lifetime member I believe the following month because I believed in the mission of supporting Women Veterans and them supporting me. The sisterhood that I have experienced over the last 10 years has been amazing. To see actual women who have gone through struggles to stand and testify about what WVIF have done to enhance their wellbeing. I have been blessed to know that as the struggles of life comes I always have a sister in arms who is always there for me. I been able to reach out and they always pick up the phone or answer my a text no matter the time and they are available to talk, listen, laugh or cry with me. I have received so much information about my veteran benefits from this amazing organization. Information that has enriched my life and my family's life. Even my husband supports the mission of WVIF. The CEO Mrs. Miller is an amazing advocate for Women Veterans issues and concerns. Her passion and compassion is the driving force behind Women Veterans Interactive. The cohesion of this organization is unparalleled.
The lifelong friendships I have made is awesome. I am so grateful to this organization and community of women veterans who all are working towards the betterment of our Women Veterans as a whole!

As a proud volunteer and passionate supporter of the Women Veterans Interactive Foundation (WVIF), I can say without hesitation that this organization is a true force for good. Under the dynamic leadership of CEO Ginger Miller, WVIF has been a consistent and powerful advocate for servicewomen and women veterans across the nation.

I have witnessed firsthand the incredible impact WVIF makes, providing not just resources, but hope, healing, and a sense of community to those who have served. The foundation’s programs, from emergency financial assistance and workforce development to leadership training and empowerment events, are designed with empathy, intention, and effectiveness. They meet women veterans where they are and help them rise even higher.

What sets WVIF apart is its holistic approach to supporting veterans. It’s not just about addressing short-term needs, it’s about building long-term resilience, fostering personal and professional growth, and creating spaces where women veterans feel seen, heard, and valued.

I’ve been personally inspired and moved by the work WVIF does every day. The stories I’ve heard and the lives I’ve seen transformed speak volumes about the foundation’s dedication and impact. WVIF is not just changing lives, it’s saving them.

This is an organization worth supporting, celebrating, and sharing. WVIF is where advocacy meets action and our women veterans deserve nothing less.

In 2021, I made the hardest decision of my life—leaving a toxic relationship after 20 years. I was completely alone and far from my family. I didn’t know how I’d make it, but God sent angels in the form of the Women Veterans Interactive Foundation.

Through their Operation Safety Net program, I received emergency financial assistance that covered my first month’s rent and security deposit, along with an Amazon gift card to help me buy household essentials. That support wasn’t just financial—it was emotional, spiritual, and lifesaving. The sisterhood I found gave me strength when I had none left.

WVI Foundation helps women veterans like me navigate life after the military by addressing real challenges—homelessness, unemployment, and the need for healing and connection.

Today, I’m asking you to help recognize the incredible impact of this organization.

I was introduced to WVI by a military battle buddy while overseas. She told me this was the organization women veterans needed—and she was right. At my first event, I was surrounded by women from all walks of life, yet we shared a common bond. We were family, and WVI was created to care for and keep us connected.

Becoming a lifetime member was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I’ve seen us in action—supporting one another and ensuring no woman veteran ever feels alone. WVI is a part of my heart and my family. Forever grateful to be part of this fantastic community!

Hi, my name is Eustacia McCloud Carter. When I joined Women Veterans Interactive Foundation (WVIF), I found a family, a Sisterhood, a community I had been missing. I never had a second thought, it was full steam ahead. I loved how the organization took care of women Veterans post military; through the many programs such as Operation Safety Net, meeting them at their point of need. The Transition Assistance Space; connecting them with resources required to acclimate smoothly back into civilian life.

Since joining, I was given the opportunity to began a Chapter and become President. I’ve been given the opportunity to spread our message and assist other women Veterans; with the guidance of our National organization. We at WVIF leave no one behind!

Our National Pink and White Empowerment Summits are just a precursor to our National Conference every November. We have world-class speakers and companies bringing their expertise to help women Veterans. They brief on financial literacy, entrepreneurship, building your image, and much more. We even have VA personnel to assist with claims and benefits. A must attend event!

WVIF is a nonprofit anyone wouldn’t mind investing in! We take care of the Nation’s finest!

If you were to take time to realize the small population (in comparison to our male counterparts) of women who are also Veterans, you would understand the necessity of this nonprofit. There is a language and a need where this organization and CEO goes FULL throttle to get results. It has bridged the gap for so many regardless of the circumstance, i.e., medical needs, food insecurity, domestic violence and so much more.

I’ve stood with Ginger Miller and the Women Veterans Interactive Foundation for almost a decade now because the mission is CRUCIAL and VITAL! We ALL must do everything in our power to ensure our Women Veterans will never be discarded when they are in need and this organization is on the frontline as a shining example.

I am priviledged to witness the tremendous impact and influence WVI has had on so many veterans. Having attended a number of events, including the National Conference for the last several years, I can attest to both the practical skills and support the group provides as well as the community. The stories of the women who have benefited from the various programs are beyond inspiring. Ginger Miller leads with purpose, intention and heart. I learned about WVI in 2018 and was interested to know more about it because I was getting close to retiring from the Air Force. That November, I attended my first WVI conference, and within 30 seconds of walking in the door, I knew this was an organization for me! Even though I didn’t know anyone there, it was if I’d known these ladies for years! What I found was a life-long community that helped me navigate my transition through networking, attending the Beyond the Transition program, annual conference activities, and Chapter events throughout the year. Now, I enjoy sharing Ginger’s inspirational story and how WVIF came to be with other women veterans, so they too can experience the same supportive sisterhood.

I am honored to serve on the board of WVI. It is incredibly important for women veterans to have a place to go for community, but also a place to go when they need support. I have seen the amazing work that Ginger and the team have done over the years. The community they have created and the support they provide, is phenomenal. I look forward to WVI's continued growth and expansion across the country. If you are a woman veteran please join this organization and be a part of an amazing group of your fellow women veterans!

WVI has been a stalwart in the women veteran space- creating community for not only transitioning women veterans, but women vets at every stage. Their conferences, from the Pink series to their annual conference, offers an opportunity for women to built and leverage relationships to further their success. WVI’s strategic partnerships with key organizations and employers allows them the ability to leverage relationships for the betterment of women veterans. Having a women veteran champion at the helm (Navy veteran, Ginger Miller), who understands the issues intimately, undoubtedly leads to WVI's visibility and success. Truly, they are accomplishing something that's attempted - yet not accomplished - by other orgs and are worthy of all recognition!

WVIF has truly been a lifeline in my post-military journey. After retiring from the U.S. Navy with 31 years of service, I found myself navigating the challenges of transition, identity, and rebuilding purpose beyond the uniform. Women Veterans Interactive Foundation didn’t just speak empowerment—they lived it. Through WVIF programs and events, I was surrounded by a sisterhood of support, given a platform to share my voice, and encouraged to continue serving others through mentorship and advocacy. Their community reminded me that I was not alone, and their investment in my growth helped reignite the confidence and leadership I once wore in uniform. WVIF doesn’t just support women veterans—they elevate us. And for that, I am forever grateful.

Being part of Women Veterans Interactive Foundation (WVIF) has truly transformed my life. After facing challenges and often feeling unseen as a woman in the military, WVIF gave me a space where I felt valued, supported, and empowered. Through their programs and powerful sisterhood, I learned to embrace my identity, own my story, and find strength in every experience—good and bad.

This organization helped me recognize my uniqueness as a woman veteran and reminded me that my service is something to be proud of, not hidden. WVIF reconnected me to my voice, gave me tools for professional growth, emotional healing, and leadership, and introduced me to a community that truly understands.

Because of WVIF, I walk taller. I am no longer defined by hardships—I am empowered by purpose, sisterhood, and the strength this foundation continues to pour into women like me every day.
