Mission: To provide advocacy services for crime victims, to strive to provide a safe community through education, and to work to change attitudes and values that tolerate and accept abuse
Programs: General crime victim services worked with county attorney offices to assist over 1,350 primary victims and over 150 secondary victims, including providing related emergency support to vicitims as needed. Family violence programs handled over 2,000 crisis line calls, served over 600 adults and nearly 50 children through domestic violence programs, and presented information to hundreds of people through sponsoring school & community based anti-violence education programs. Legal advocacy services were provided to over 650 persons. Nearly 400 people received emergency financial assistance as part of their transiton out of violent situations.
