Programs: Wings academy operated a 1-12 school in milwaukee, wisconsin for children with learning disabilities under a charter school contract with the milwaukee public school system. The school also received grants from the wisconsin department of public instruction and other private foundations. The goal of wings academy was to assist its students in becoming productive, involved citizens and to ready them for future employment through a strong focus on current technology, art, math, language and reading skills. Students also learned self-discipline through the "martial arts for peace" program. The organization closed its doors to students as of june 30, 2012. The organization continues to exist past this date to wrap up its operations.
