This is a most excellent organization. I have been involved with them for over a year. They make sound decisions about the dogs that they rescue and foster. I have watched them work for good in our community and am thrilled to be part of their volunteer team. I choose to be involved with my time and money because I trust them and the work that they do

I’ve known about PBAoA since they started as BCBC in 2008. I’ve been continually impressed with Michelle and other staff members’ tirelessness in advocating for these sweet and deserving animals. The staff are professional, incredibly well educated, passionate, and deeply committed to their mission. As a pit bull lover, I am so grateful PBAoA exists to help people understand the truth about these dogs. I am a better dog owner because of this group and I know I am not alone. Thank you PBAoA!

Michelle and this organization are absolutely wonderful. I had reached out recently for some guidance regarding an abandoned dog on the other side of the country. She was so helpful and thoughtful through what eneded up being a very emotional, week-long ordeal. She proved to be the most compassionate advocate for not only these dogs, but for owners struggling with the responsibilities as well. I will remain forever grateful to her and this organization and consistantly touched by the work they do for animals and their owners in the community.

What can I say..im truly blessed! We got our baby girl from my sister who is fighting cancer and is now a single mom who got stuck with 4 dogs. I already had 1 dog. With covid in our nation im unable to return to work till mid July. I knew my baby needed to be fixed and have her shot and chipped. Im wanted her with me forever and if she's lost I could find her. She's my baby. This group understood and stepped in to help and have even offered further support with her in general! You always hear about people discriminate pitbulls but this group loved her from the start! My baby is the biggest loving kind puppy ever with goober wet kisses each time! Great group here!

I started as a volunteer with (formerly Brew City Bully Club) PBAOA over a year because they are a voice for a cause I care deeply about. I can't think of a better group of people to stand up for these dogs. Whether it be through vaccine clinics or educating the public or providing food and toys to those pet parents in need, they are there for this community. Now being out of state, I am still very much connected to this organization because of how dedicated and true their mission is. Thank you to those involved with PBAOA for being there for the dogs and community, you are appreciated.

I'm a proud supporter of Pit Bull Advocates of America because they care so much and so openly for the dogs and the people with whom they interact. Everyone involved has a personal connection and they go the extra mile to do the most with what they have. I feel confident that the organization uses its financial funding to the fullest extent and for the strongest, lasting impact.

I e seen the hearts and dedication of the workers and volunteers. Ive seen lives saved and changed. It's been a powerful and heartwarming experience to see so many 4 legged puppets find Fur-Ever homes because of this organization.

I am so grateful we came across this organization. We were faced with a very difficult decision related to our dog's behavior and did not know what would be the best option for our family and our pittie. We were having difficulty finding someone willing to have a conversation with us on the phone. Michelle responded to our email and quickly arranged for a phone conversation on a holiday weekend. She is so knowledgeable and was able to help us navigate our situation, and options to help us come to the best conclusion for both our dog and our family. We are forever grateful.

I am the owner of a dog walking, pet sitting, and dog training company. Through that business, I have had the pleasure of working with Pit Bull Advocates of America (formerly Brew City Bully Club) for the past 6 years. I have always had a soft spot for Pit Bull Type Dogs (I currently have two pit bull family members and have fostered others). Pit Bull Advocates of America does a fantastic in job reaching out to the pit bull community to provide education, support, and endless resources. PBAOA has been in the forefront of advocacy for over a decade, and they have continued to shift their mission to address the current environment in bully breed support. Not only does this group provide support for a misunderstood breed of dogs, including rescue and foster, they also (and perhaps more importantly) support the needs of educating the community. This includes current pit bull owners who may need information and support on training, behavior, and veterinary care, as well as setting up low cost spay/neuter clinics and immunization. Additionally, PBAOA provides education to the community at large to help better understand these wonderful dogs. I will continue support Pit Bull Advocates of America in both time and monetary donations in order to continue their mission of spreading awareness and education of Pit Bull Type Dogs!

This group is AMAZING. I can honestly say there isn’t a single thing I don’t like about them. Michelle and Victoria care about pets, their owners, their COMMUNITY, and now the US as a whole. I first met and heard of them when Michelle hosted one of her “P Word” seminars in Kenosha- I knew right away I wanted to get involved and help. They share and spread kindness like no other organization I’ve been a part of. Rescue isn’t always about how many dogs you have- it’s about education, advocacy, owner support, and so much more. They’ve taught me SO much in a small amount of time. I can’t wait to see what the future holds for you guys ❤️

They are awesome! Educating people on the wonderful world of pitbulls. I adopted my boxer pit from the humane society. They helped me to understand her and provide a safe environment for her to run around and get some quality exercise without the fear of the intrusion of other dogs.

Brew City is a wonderful organization. They do some much for the community, including non-biased education about pit-bull type dogs, vaccination clinics, dog days, and many other events that support the mission of changing minds and saving lives! I have volunteered with this organization for almost 2 years now. I have watched this organization better the lives of dogs and dog owners alike. The work Michelle, Victoria, and Beth do, along with the many volunteers, is truly inspiring and I am proud to say I am a Brew city Bully club volunteer!

Such a great organization out there spreading the word about pit bull type breeds. There are so many misconceptions and stereo types and out right lies about these types of dogs. And Michelle and her crew are out there spreading the word and educating people about the true nature of these wonderful pets and the cruel and inhumane treatment they have been receiving. Take a moment and go to their website and get the facts and thank them for all the hard work they do for this wonderful breed. Thank you.

I volunteer for Brew city as a dog day volunteer. Families bring their pups to run around in a safe, fun playard (much like any other dog park), the only exception is that they are the only one/s. I have heard from many families that this is the most AWESOME idea, not only for reactive dogs, but for all. All are eager to return on another day!

BCBC advocates tirelessly on behalf of a dog breed that has been unfairly discriminated against and taken advantage of. On a shoestring budget, they offer services that educate and enable people to be responsible and successful dog parents. I truly appreciate the dog days service they offer where an owner can bring her dogs to run free and safe in a large enclosed yard without having to worry about encountering other people or dogs. Every dog at every level of sociability should be allowed the chance to be carefree and have fun.

In March 2018, nearly 3 years after my husband and I adopted our first pitbull, I attended BCBC's Pitbull University with my mom and one of my sisters, even though we'd all spent the last three years researching and arming ourselves against the naysayers, they still had so much more to teach us! I love their message, their mission, and how they present themselves. What stuck with me most was "You can't fight hate with hate." It's hard but it's the only way pitbull lovers will succeed in making people see all dogs are equally deserving of love! I also love their Dog Days facility, we don't have a fenced yard and our pitbull is both dog and human reactive, it's such a great place to let her run free with our other two pups.

My husband and I became involved with the BCBC organization after they moved to Franklin, WI. We love their focus on educating people about pit bull type dogs as there are so many stigmas and misconceptions perpetuated by the media today. They run fundraisers, information booths at public events, walk parades, provide educational presentations, access to a safe space for dogs to run and play off leash, provide resources to dog owners, advocate for the battle against dog fighting, rescue dogs in need, and more! The list just goes on. Everyone involved in this organization, especially the founder and leaders in the organization, are very passionate about the cause, dedicated, and patient. Money and donations to this organization really go to where they are needed and can truly be beneficial.

Brew City Bully Club is a phenomenal nonprofit organization! My first experience with them was at an educational event they were hosting called The P Word. The event was extremely educational, inspiring, and unbiased. I learned so much about the education and advocacy that they provide for Pit Bull Type dogs and the people that love them. I was so inspired that I decided to become a volunteer for their organization!

My direct experience with them is limited. I took my dog to participate with their picture with Santa program. On a personal note, it was fantastic how friendly and seemingly delighted they were with my little cannonball of a dog. But probably more important is the roll I witness them play in this community for the advocacy of pit bulls. From their events to the education they disperse I think they are changing minds and watching out for a very deserving and but sadly at risk type of dog. From a pit bull type dog breed owner, I am so very greatful this program exists!

Brew City Bully Club is one of the most amazing non-profit organizations ever organized; the women who make it possible go above and beyond to help animals in the Milwaukee area, and I am so honored that I have been able to volunteer with them. Changing Minds and Savings Lives is not an easy task and without the hard work of Michelle, Victoria, Alexis, and many others there are many people who would not have given a pit bull type dog a second chance at life — they’re truly heroes.

I’ve had the opportunity to work with Brew City Bully Club in various capacities almost since their inception 10 years ago. I’ve participated in socializing and agility-type classes with my dogs to organized neighborhood walks, community awareness and/or fundraising events, and the list goes on. I was really fortunate to work with many of the amazing volunteers to set up a place to host a vaccine/ microchipping event in a neighborhood that highly utilized the services offered and the program formerly known as Animal Allies, which on several occasions brought a therapy certified pitty into an urban elementary school to open dialogue about pit bull type dogs, proper care and treatment of pets and of course to interact with a group of students. The many experiences with BCBC staff, volunteers, events and programs have been nothing short of positive, organized and fun. The work that the BCBC is doing in Milwaukee and surrounding areas is so greatly needed and I’m proud to support such an amazing organization!

They make sure their volunteers are on the same page to do things consistently and correctly - again in the best interest of the dogs.
The bottom line is that they truly and honestly care. They are in this organization with their hearts and love of the animals.
