Promoting the critical research in the area of privacy rights and security - wickr foundation works to identify and develop research topics critical to promoting the foundation's mission of advancing privacy and information security. As part of this program, the foundation participates in international academic and technology conferences to promote the need for privacy innovation and support exchange of ideas among scholars and civil society. The foundation work to disseminate this research through op-ed articles across various online and offline publications. Education programming for youth - through teaching cryptography, white-hat hacking, and the basics of application security, wickr foundation works to empower kids to protect their communities and build better technology. The foundation parents with academic institutions like stanford university and other educational organizations to make interactive training on privacy and security accessible and fun for youth.
