The children's home provides safe environments that allow children the opportunity to begin healing from their trauma. Children and youth may be admitted by law enforcement officers, social workers, parents and the youth themselves. The residential departments provide shelter services for youth from 13 to 17 years of age. Our family foster care department has identified licensed families in the community for care of children, ages 0 to 17 years. The staff secure unit (ssu) is specifically designed to assess and meet the immediate needs of children traumatized by human trafficking.
