I started as a volunteer for KFAN in March 2021. I began to help at the Sharing His Love Resource closet. Soon after volunteering I knew that KFAN was where God called me to be. I continue to volunteer, and I am now the Volunteer Resource Coordinator for the Sharing His Love Clothes Closet and the Juanita Alexandra Food Pantry.
This is a very love filled non-profit organization that loves people, and they strive to reflect the love of Jesus to others by offering resources through prayer, counselling, parenting classes, free clothes and hygiene products. They also help to provide food to fill the gap as more families are in need of that resource.
I am now a board member for the Kansas Family Advisory Network and will stay where God has called me to be His hand and feet.
I have been familiar and an active participant with KFAN. The services they offer to families are amazing because the organizations objective is to encourage, motivate and build self-sufficiency with families.
They are willing to offer help to families who are in need, and they maintain that outreach even after the families have met their goals.
Change in a community is or can be scary or challenging because of the unknown. KFAN however is reaching out, meeting with various organizations/stakeholders to help them understand they are here to "help", "encourage" and "support" those in need.
KFAN organization is a nurturing, educated, professional, loving and family oriented that thrives on preventative measures to help others reach goals that are "Affective".
I am always referring KFAN to families who are in need or just need to know someone cares and wants to help.
K-Fan has been a life-changer for me. They are without a doubt the strongest link in my support team. They have the resources to offer you help in every aspect of your journey, from court advocacy and food donations to hugs and prayers. Haylie Bagwell, Coffeyville advocate, gave me what I needed most the day I stepped into her office -- hope. And she's made sure it's stuck with me every day since. K-FAN is the embodiment of compassion.
I am a board member and a biological parent. And I have been through the system about ten years ago. And they are very supportive organization.
I appreciate the hard work and dedication that everyone shows. My girls have been a part of therapy that was offered and it has helped them tremendously. They offer so much more that my home may not need, but definitely is an asset to others.

Hello Venusc, Thank you so much for trusting KFAN with your girl's therapy. We are so glad it has been such a big help! Thank you for your review. Be blessed!
KFAN has so many resources that I did not know about all across Kansas. Their parenting classes and support for families is outstanding! I love connecting people with KFAN because I know their team will see the value of the person/family they are supporting and help them get support through therapy, education, case management, advocacy, and connection to outside providers. KFAN's answer is always: let me see how we can help you rather than we only offer this.... I love that they think outside the box!
