Mission: The Whispering Seed is a village-based community learning center and home for orphaned and abused children focusing on finding the joy in serving others through cross-cultural exchanges and sustainable living practices. We are a model community focused on simple and sustainable ways of living, a place where children's voices are honored and respected and diversity is celebrated. We respect, value and honor the inherent natural learning processes within every human being and strive to create a healthy, supportive, natural environment where that uniqueness can unfold in its own natural rhythm.The Whispering Seed works primarily with Karen and Mon hilltribe children and villagers and with displaced ethnic Burmese refugees along the border region in Western Thailand.
